Volunteering Itinerary -15 Days Sample Program

Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (1,345m). Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Meeting at the Himalayan Hub office, language tutoring session, and half-day sightseeing in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Preparation day for village departure. Program briefing and final arrangements. Overnight at local house or hotel.

Day 04: Drive to Gorkha. Sightseeing and hike to Gorkha Durbar. Continue to Ratna Rajya Secondary School (Birenchok village, Gorkha District). Welcome ceremony. Overnight at local or volunteer house.

Day 05 – Day 12: Initial meeting with teachers and start of volunteer teaching and community activities. Daily involvement in school and community projects. Overnight at local houses or volunteer house.

Day 13: Farewell program with students, teachers, and community members. Overnight at local or volunteer house.

Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu. Free time in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15: Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for final departure.
