Rara Lake trekking, leads you to most fascinating and scenic country around Nepal Far Western Himalaya to largest lakes of Nepal at Rara, covering an area of 10.8 sq kms located at 2,990 m high a great spot within tranquil forest surrounding and rolling high green hills with views of snow capped peaks.
One of the best trekking in Himalayan region away from mainstream trekking trails where you will be enclosed with nature and scenic views of mountains and traditional villages of age-old culture that still exist since past hundred of centuries.
Rara Lake situated between the district of Jumla and Mugu areas, where villagers have fascinating traditions of Malla period and the people are of Thakuri Chettries origin with Hindu religion, well the much higher region people with Buddhist custom and religion.
Starting this magnificent walks with flight from Kathmandu to land at Nepalgunj city around Nepal far south west, and then taking another scenic flights to Jumla to begin the trek to Rara Lake as journey leads into interesting villages and farm fields with forest covered in rhododendron-spruce-pines and fir tree lines.
Finally reaching our highlight destination at Rara Lake with wonderful and pleasant time within serene wilderness and lovely forest areas, as our return walks leads towards high hills facing incredible scenery of verdant valley and snow clad peaks.
Climbing on top Daphe Lagna Bhanjyang a pass above 3,691 m and 12,180 ft high offering sweeping panorama of impressive landscape scenery and slowly our adventure completes walking back at Jumla for panoramic flight back to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj with grand memories and excellent adventure on Rara Lake Trekking.
