Langtang Tamang Heritage Trekking, where you will encounter with local colorful and high mountains within Central Himalaya around Langtang Himal region, the home of Tamang people.

of week duration, and also for travelers who likes to be away from main flow of trekkers, as this walk on Tamang Heritage Trail trekking leads you on the off beaten trails.

Langtang Tamang Heritage Trekking, one of the fresh destinations located North of Kathmandu valley sandwiched between massive peaks of Ganesh and Langtang Himal at Rasuwa district of Central Himalaya region.

A wonderful journey as drive leads you into exciting and marvelous scenery past farm villages and towns from warmer sub-tropic climate to cooler alpine zone into serene woodland of tall rhododendron-magnolia-pines-firs and oak tree lines in the shade of Tamang villages enriched with ancient culture of old heritage and traditional life.

From Syabrubesi walk leads you on least trekked areas to nice and lovely Gatlang village with warm welcome by the village people with traditional greetings with time to witness its fascinating traditions of Tibetan origin and custom.

Walk leads to number of Tamang villages which captivating with views of mountains at close distance and then ending this nice and marvelous walk back to the road head for the drive back to Kathmandu with lasting memories on Tamang Heritage Trekking.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01:   Arrival in Kathmandu via respective airlines.

Day 02:   Free day in Kathmandu with half day sightseeing tour and trek preparation.

Day 03:   Drive to Syabrubesi 1,470 m via Nuwakott town into Rasuwa areas – 06 hrs.

Day 04:   Trek to Gatlang 2,200 m – 05 hrs.

Day 05:   Trek to Tatopani 2,607 m – 06 hrs.

Day 06:   Trek to Thuman 2,400 m via Nagthali – 06 hrs.

Day 07:   Trek to Briddim 2,345 m – 06 hrs.

Day 08:   Trek to Lama Hotel 2,350m – 06 hours walk.

Day 09:   Trek to Syabrubesi – 06 hours walk.

Day 10:   Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to your respective hotels.

Day 11:   International departure home ward bound.

Important Note: Your safety is of paramount concern while traveling with Trail Himalaya. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails traveling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
